Jari Vähänen

Jari has worked in the gambling industry since the early 1990s. He held management positions at the Finnish national gambling company for a long time, where he was responsible for, among other things, betting-related matters, digital business, business development, and international cooperation and business. Jari has also been a member of international working groups in the gambling industry, including as executive chairman of the European Lotteries’ Sport working group and as a member of the Innovation group.
Jari is co-founder of The Finnish Gambling Consultants, which started operations in the spring of 2020. The consulting firm helps gambling operators and suppliers improve their business and has had clients from all continents.
Sampo Terho

Sampo Terho is the Co-Founder of ISR and leads the company’s administrative operations and strategic negotiations. He brings extensive experience from public leadership, having served as Finland’s Minister of Culture and Sports, as well as a long-standing Member of both the European Parliament and the Finnish Parliament.
In addition to his governmental background, Sampo is an accomplished author with several published novels, and has a deep personal connection to sports, music and gaming. He has been involved in computer gaming for decades, giving him a unique perspective on the evolution of digital entertainment.
At ISR, Sampo’s role combines governance, strategic partnerships and high-level negotiation, supporting the company’s development across the EU and GCC.

Pekka has worked in television and media for 30 years. He has been reporter, producer and executive producer for national and international broadcasters like olympics and world championships. He is spezialized for big international sport events, motorsport and cars among other topics. He has vast experience in public affairs, PR and communication.
He has worked 20 years in PR and marketing for for rally driver’s management and sponsoring. Pekka has excellent network in media both nationally and internationally. His clients in communication and PR has included Public Listed Companys, start-ups and World Rally Champions Tommi Mäkinen and Marcus Grönholm after they retired from racing.
